I am going to have to say the second one as well! I enjoy the concept of puzzle pieces and what they can represent. I'd like to see your name somewhere on there. Over all you did a great job!

I enjoy both designs, the first being more professional/business like while the second provides more creative freedom. I prefer the creative freedom, so im going to support the second rough. The only issue is the type, but that is an easy fix, what makes that idea good is the 3D effect combined with good color design.

Hello! I feel your 2nd better defines you as a designer as it possess a sense of depth, making the design interesting. The 1st layout doesn't give a whole lot of information and feels a bit generic. I do agree that if your are going to choose to have the puzzle pieces as your roll-overs, the buttons at the top are unnecessary. You'll then have that space to put your name. I think it'd be in your best interest to scale the puzzle pieces down and move the image either to the right or left to create space needed for the paragraph about yourself. Also I think a sans serif font will be more suitable.

I have to agree that the puzzle design in my favorite. It is interesting and dynamic! I do think that a sans serif type might be more effective with this kind of sleek design.

As the most of us, I like you second design better, looks fun and creative. I found work more with the top and background. Maybe fade the background a little, or as an option you can put a shadow on the puzzle pieces to make it pope out more, As far as the top part goes, it is hard to see, but the thing that looks like logo or business card in the corner looks like it don't belong there, maybe you can put it your contacts page, or remove the illusion of the box that you have around it and have just logo is the similar shade as you background.

I like the concept of the second one, the puzzles. Not sure how you will be able to pull that off, but it would be cool!
