I love that you used the city sky line in both but I think that having it in the header is a lot more appealing than scrolling it across the bottom of the page. I do however like the use of red in the second design. Over all Great job!

I really like the top design, the red glow is very nice.

The firs one looks better orgonized, nice buttons, I would change the aligment and spacing a little on your name at he top and also the text boxes and your photo. Some things are to close together and some are to far appart. Otherwice good job!
