Project 2 critique
Re: Project 2 critique
The blue design would be the direction I would say to go on this one. It has a nice feel to it.

AN HOUR LONG?! How nauseating....it kinda makes me loose faith in humanity! lol! Well, i guess you couldn't have chosen a more perfect site to redesign.
So I'm thinking the organization of the 1st blue layout is working better than the second as it brings more attention the logo and there is more space around the buttons, giving the eye a rest. I do feel; however, more inclined to go with the green scheme as it pertains to the product better in my opinion. I think you could tone down the green a bit, making a more natural and neutral color scheme. This would open opportunity to introduce more radical colors that could potentially bring attention to important content.
Also, imagery! I had difficulty realizing exactly what the site was all about- the services and products offered because of lack there of. I believe the majority of people in this society are visual learners; (no doubt there are exceptions) therefore, I feel it'd be in your best interest to attempt to visually entice your audience.

Leaning more towards first design! The blue is much easier on the eyes compared to green and the layout is good and organized. Your type is also legible but you might want to watch out your type choice for the body copy. The bold font is making your text hard to read. Maybe use bold font for you navigation and headers instead and then something thinner for body copy???

I prefer the blue design; it's quite easy to navigate and straight forward. I think some kind of imagery would take it to a new level. Agreed, their original site is about as bad as I've ever seen (or heard, dear God). Huge improvement.

I mina like the first design better, only because of the color- its a little more soothing to my eyes. other than that the layout is very basic, but it'll work.

I like the blue design, the colors work better to communicate technology.
