Your first one is different. I think with a little more typography work, you could do some cool stuff.

hmmm I like your second design better tbh. I like the layout and it looks more welcoming because.. less spikes yo.

One thing I would suggest though is to just stretch the entire white box and have the bg all white?
Black header, green boxes, and the black footer are already perfect as they are so don't change them!
I just thought that having double containers looks a lil visually-tight but other than that, great start!

I think you have a pretty darn strong first one here. I especially like the inner page. It looks like a banner. And the horizontal one looks like a flag. It's got great use of contrast and it minimizes TMCC's hideous green. I like the faded college seal and the TMCC logo. The navigation is also strong and easy to use. It's got a great information presentation area.

Bring the zig zags up closer to the navigation on the vertical one though. Also shrink the "Truckee Meadows Community College" type a point or two, so it doesn't have to be so bunched up. Scoot your navigation down a touch as well so it doesn't touch the school seal.

Looking good!

I'm liking the first one a lot more :) The sharp shapes add an edge to your design :D I would extend the text box though, I feel like you're going to need more space for information.

Im reli liking the first design choice. The border/shape design tat you did seems to be pleasing to look at. I like the level of professionalism as well. Great job!

I am really liking your first design the strong shapes are very eye catching. The colors go well together as well. My suggestion is to maybe make the buttons a little larger so they stand out more or maybe put a color box behind them.

No. 2. I would add dotted lines to make it look like a box that needs folding, as well as other items that would allude to that concept.
