Konnichi Wa!
What's up, gals and fellas! My name is Dalanie Chester. I am also known as Tsukimizu (in Coplay).
Here's some fun facts about myself:
1) People might not know this, but I have lived in the small town of Fallon (or jokingly Fallabama) for my entire life and moved up to Reno, to continue my education, in 2011.
2) Most of the hobbies that I do most often are Cosplaying (dressing up in costumes), reading, writing stories, listing to music, observing the paranormal, and of course drawing. I also love to study the culture and language of Japanese.
3) I have studied Graphic Communication ever since High school and loved it. Even with my love for creating and developing anime and movies.
4) I am really excited to learn more about making websites.
I hope that I get a chance to get to know my fellow classmates and learn techniques and mistakes along the semester.
Sayonara!

Oooh, colorful. Welcome to GRC 175, Dalanie. I hope you achieve your goals. Use this forum and it's Resources to help you succeed.
Ah. You left for the big city to find fame and fortune, eh?TsukimizuDC wrote:1) People might not know this, but I have lived in the small town of Fallon (or jokingly Fallabama) for my entire life and moved up to Reno, to continue my education, in 2011.
Neat. Who do you typically cosplay as?TsukimizuDC wrote:2) Most of the hobbies that I do most often are Cosplaying (dressing up in costumes), reading, writing stories, listing to music, observing the paranormal, and of course drawing. I also love to study the culture and language of Japanese.

Re: Konnichi Wa! (Hello!)
Yeah, I needed to break out of the cycle. Fallon was getting smaller for me to even attend classes at WNC. The town and WNC was already in the process of being in financial turmoil.
Now about who I cosplay, it varies for me. Normally, I work more with anime and cartoon characters. But, I have been branching out to experiment with different versions of Pokémon. Last year for a local anime convention, I got to cosplay as Medusa from Soul Eater (one of my favorite characters from the anime). It was the best cosplay that I ever done. This year, I'm making four different cosplays for two conventions that I will be attending to.

Interesting. The detail that cosplayers put in to their costumes and artifacts has always impressed me. I'm not terribly handy/crafty so it's never been something that I've really wanted to do but as an autist nerd I always get a kick seeing what people really get into.
You should totally do a Rule 63 Ash and carry around some bizarre repurposed creature as your Pokemon. Maybe an Evan Chambers style object.

Oh! I almost forgot!
If you guys have any cosplay ideas for me, just let me know ahead of time, either in person or on the forum. Michael mentioned the Rule 63 Ash K. from Pokémon. Thanks, guys.
