I think this web design is a great concept. I particularly like the use of negative space being in the eye of the beholder...

Looks good, has an original idea with the glasses, but the overall feel is simple. I could only suggest adding something to give it more life.

I like the image you chose for your background, especially the way you've made the sunglasses pop. I'm also a huge fan of the way you made your first name bold. I would maybe like to see your navigation a little bigger just because I did almost miss them taking in your background image, name and about me.
