I like the layout of the first one a lot more but I think the colors are way too bright; maybe a few shades darker on that bluish color

I really like the bottom design, the colors work really nicely. The design seems less cramped too. Maybe for the navigation mess with the line spacing for the illuminati alert page, it kind of seems like it’s a button for Illuminati and another for alert page. Great start though.

Wow. The original site is a trip. Ummm, good luck condensing and organizing all that info. I mean it. I wish you well.

Of the two designs you've posted, I think the bottom works better in terms of layout and color, but I'm not sure your original site would say it agrees with their message. It looks like a well put together, traditional feeling church website, but the original seems anything but. Maybe you can shape that to your advantage and make a mockery of that somehow. Like a spray painted "DON'T BELIEVE THIER LIES" over the header or something. Have fun. Don't hold back.

I enjoy your second design more. It is much more visually interesting. I would find a stronger image for the top or at least a better resolution.

The second on is beautiful, classy and makes me want to know more about the people behind it. As Avery mentioned, the crosses behind the links are distracting, and I personally have a problem with them laying down. Perhaps a vertical orientation next to each link..? The colors are an amazing choice, simple and beautiful.
