Hello my classmates!!

Post by raoki »

Finally I could log into this site!! It was because of Michael!! jk :P
I'm Remi, who came from Japan like 4 years ago for schooling. I already graduated from TMCC last fall semester but I came back to take this class because I believe the knowledge of web design is very significant as a graphic designer. I've noticed how important it is after I experienced helping my friend to create a website for his own business in Japan. I really tried to make some nice layouts for him, but he liked non of these (I made over 30). I failed. And I lost all my confidence for a while. However, now I really appreciate for that experience!

I talked too much...haha In short, I've a strong motivation for learning in this class!

You'll probably not understand what I say sometimes because of my accent if you're not used to communicate with international people. I apologize for that first! But please understand that I always try to fight against the fear of speaking out(some people don't believe I'm still afraid of it though lol). There are things I have to do, so that's what I do. No matter what I'm afraid of.

Please don't hesitate to talk to me, everyone (but make sure if I wear earphones or not!haha) ;)

Oooof. Having a client who you don't click with is a rough experience, Remi. I've been through it a few times and it doesn't get any easier. It feels like banging your head on a brick wall.

That being said, welcome to GRC 175. I hope you have a more positive experience in this class than you did with your friend. I look forward to seeing your designs and seeing your take on your fellow student's designs. Have a good time and do your best!
