I like your style on both of these designs and am having a hard time deciding which one I like best.
The rabbit rough definitely says child's storybook. The only change I would make would be to move your name, maybe just up some. Right now it is crowding the rest too much.
I am in love with the sunset clouds in the other one, but (yeah...there's always a 'but') your text looks lost down there in the bottom left. This is just another case of moving it and your name (with the same spacing) up some.
Happy Designing!

I really like your color scheme, Aria. It's soft and pleasing without losing too much contrast. I really like the whimsy of the first design and lean a little more toward it. Maybe because I enjoy children's book illustrations myself. My only suggestion would be to try your name all in one color - I think it would create more cohesiveness in your name. Very nice designs!

I like the image and layout in your first design. It creates a nostalgic feel when you look at it. The white background makes the rest of the site stand out. The links are a bit hard to see on the colored background.
I like the layout and colors used in your second site. The font size in your paragraphs could be increased in size to make it easier to read.
