Hey Ryan!

I think your layout is super interesting. I would still play more with the colors on it. but other than that I like it! good job!

Very nice Deco style here, Ryan. I like what I see.

This design looks totally like an Art Deco tile in some 1930's office building. It has great use of contrast. The white type and colored shapes really pop out against the black background. The shapes themselves not only create an interesting pattern, but also help guide the eye around the composition. I also like the colors chosen. They work well with the theme and, being pastels, are enhanced by the black background. I find the diagonal middle interesting. Nice creation of balance by using different sized type. The navigation is large and easy to find/use.

The big issue I have with the composition is margins. All of your type, from your bodycopy to your name to your email is too close to the shapes. You need to give them room to breathe. Right now everything is a little crammed together.

Nice work!

While your design is very unconventional it works wonders for your hierarchy and navigation. Your black diamond in the center with white typography made it very easy for my eye to read what you had to say. The site over all is very much you, however your email address placement was the last part of your site that I saw, and when I did see it, it seemed misplaced.

Hi, Ryan. Great use of geometric shapes on top of your black background the shapes really pop and make a strong design. Good color and font choices. You might want to leave a little more space between your "body" content and your shapes, seems a little crowed or too close to your images. Looks great!
