Project 1 Final Critique
Re: Project 1 Final Critique
I like the graphics in this design. The color scheme is original and works really well. I like how you took the text box out on the about me section and placed it into the triangle, it adds more visual interest. The navigation bar is better spaced out now also. Good job!

You're cat is so adorable! Again I really love your movement and color. You're site really makes me feel like you're a strong independent woman!

Great geometry. So shouty though. A great, weird, one of a kind website you've got here, Lauren.
The geometry does stand out though, both the shout and the light serve to move the eye around the composition and guide users to critical bits of content. The colors work well too. I like the way the purples and gray greens play off each other. You've got a very interesting use of your headshot here, using it with the design rather than just having an image/drawing somewhere is your layout. It's the "start point" for the viewers' eyeballs and points them on the inevitable journey they must take. I like your choice of type as well. It's very weird and goes with the offbeat aesthetic you've established here.
Watch your margins on your bodycopy. It's a little tight on the top and on the right.
Top shelf work!
Lol. Your cat has a sweater.
