I'm really enjoying your final layout Cindy. It came out beautiful with the B&W image in the background, and the hint of red. I just wished you used a little more of it lol. The only recommendation I have is that I have to agree with Joe, that if you scaled your quote down a little bit, it would look nicer. Also, a crispier type in your body copy would make it look a little cleaner. Other than that, you did a great job over all!

I really like your photo in this design. I also like the pop of red against the black and grey, I almost wish that there was a little more of it somewhere. Your layout is really nice and readable, I wish there was a little more contrast in it though to draw my eye to the important parts. Good job!

Now that looks like an Ansel Adams print. I really like what you have here, Cindy.

The background picture really is magnificent. It establishes a theme of the great outdoors, while also reminding anyone who knows his work of Ansel Adams. Even though it's black and white, it immediately warms up the composition. The semi-transparent content bar is well placed and serves as a nice, clean background for your type. Your type is nicely arranged and easy to read. I like the use of the handwriting font for your headline as well. The navigation is well placed and easy to use. I especially like how it conforms to the shape of that tree on the right.

As nice as your color splash is, I would have used it one other place. Perhaps your email, or the class name, or as a drop cap at the beginning of your bodycopy. I'd also have lightened the font in the sky quote as well.

Great work!

Hey Cindy!

I really liked how your final design turned out. My only critique would be to change your about text just cause bold text can be hard to read for some people. Other than that I love the background image you choose. Nice job!

Very nice, I like how you put everything in greyscale. I would work on the hierarchy of your site a bit more since my eye keeps going back to your Ansel adams quote. I would like your navigation to have dominance over that.

Hi, Cindy. Always enjoy an Ansel Adams photo - the photo makes for a wonderful background and inspiration. The Quote is a nice touch and the placement of your buttons works well placed into the darker trees on the right. I might of kept the content under Greetings a "shorter line length" it is a little too close to the footer info. Needs a little air or separation. But Nice Work!
