AWWW LOOK AT THOSE CUTE DOGGOS!! You have beautiful dogs, Charmaine!
I like the concept of both designs. However, my intuition is making me choose the second design because it represents fall and I love fall. If I'm not being biased, I would say that the fonts on the second design doesn't seem to suit well with the concept of the design, but if that is what you want, then go for it! The second design is more simple and clean, and I think it shows more professionalism than the first! Overall, great job!!

I really like your first design, Charmaine. It's the Celtic rune, I think. It adds such a great texture and visual interest. Nice use of a background gradient, too. That both adds a bit more visual texture of it's own and compliments what the rune is doing. Good use of color overall actually. The lime green and light leaf green work well together and the black creates a great contrast against them. I also like the leaf/knot framing image at the top, too. It does a great job of presenting your content. Your navigation is easy to see and use. I especially like the subtle transparency in the background. It lets the rune peak through and add it's texture to your navigation too.
You can go wider on your phone layout. No need to have all that room the the left and right. Phone screens can get rather tiny so you'll want to help people see/read your content. I wouldn't use your headline type in your bodycopy. It's a little shouty right now. I'd recommend going a little thinner there. Narrow your navigation slightly so the the left edge of your Home button matches with the left edge of your bodycopy.
Nice work!

Hello Charmaine!
Between these two I really like the green design better. I think probably because it has just a little more going on in the background, and so feels a little more engaging to me. I also really like the frame the vine design gives the layout.
I'd be interested to see what the green computer layout would look like if you made your 'about me' paragraph, picture, and links sections just a tad smaller and pulled them under your name. I think this would create a more distinct header, like you've got in your mobile version.

Hi Charmaine!
I really like the green colors of your first design, I think the mobile layout background could be a lighter green closer to the desktop version and would help the vine borders have more contrast, they're easier to see with the desktop colors!

Hi Charmaine,
I like both your designs. The second one looks more unique and I think orange is more inviting than green so that's the design that looks nicer to me personally.

Hey Charmaine, I really do like the green design especially the vine border you got there. Maybe place the links on the top of the page to prevent visitors possibly scrolling to reach the links depending on their resolution. Your second design is interesting with the title wrapping around your body text, however there is too many empty spaces, maybe add more images.
