Oh this one came out super nice, Crysta.
You too are playing with my favorite web design lifehack. Pick one or more awesome images and pair them with a clean simple layout and let the image(s) do all the work. And boy howdy is that awesome background image putting in a lot of work. But the whole thing looks great. Your pun-tastic bodycopy made me groan at times too. I also like how you mixed in the colors from the water into your navigation and logo. Great use of contrast too. That sand background makes for a great content area and really shows everything well. There's enough margin that everything can breathe without fragmenting. Your navigation is easy to see and use. Your type is well selected and easily read. Everything is placed perfectly. Your design is even liquid, if not responsive.
I'm not sure your services page needed a scrolling box for it's content. I think it might have looked better either stretched out fully or broken into two columns.
Nicely done. Now I want to go sit on a beach and listen to the waves crash around me.
