This is so nicely done, Cole. I'm going to use your work as a template of how and what we are supposed to do in this assignment: it's all there, clear and simple. Beautiful colors, there and pleasing, easy to read elegant fonts. I really like them both. :- )

Hello,
I like the imagery in the background, the color palette, and the center heavy layout. I also like the sharpness of the UI design, it's straight to the point and carries the message well. The only things I might tinker with moving forward, first the subtext "about me" is lost when it comes to readability, the value of the text is almost identical to the background image and it just blends in. Maybe take a look at a simple drop-shaow or stroke to lift it off the page and increase the readability? The only other thing I might suggest is that if you are going to go center heavy on a design why not just buy in all the way down the page? What I mean is maybe converting your body copy to a center justified block segment and possibly centering your subtext. A great start, good luck with the next next step.

Hey Cole,
I'm glad that you had gone with the first concept because I think it works really well for this project! It is very visually pleasing due to the open background and incorporates a lot of breathing room for the user to move around in. Again, the only thing that irks me about these designs is the color choice for both your "about me" and "inspiration" headlines (I do notice how it was changed for these two compared to what was shown earlier in the preliminary critique, but I am still having a hard time seeing them due to being lost in the busy background. So, you would have to change them again to something a bit darker or place a shape behind them similar to the navigation bar on top). But other than that, I say that these final designs work well and I can't wait to see how it all functions together once the site is live! Good job!

Hey Cole,
Interesting design you have here, I like your design though I am having a time reading your text do to some contrast issues with the background image. I like your font for your name. Your color choice is great with the background.

Hi Cole,
You have made a strong layout with visually pleasing imagery and nice contrasting type on top. It is easy to find everything and it feels like a very personal design you would see on a authors website or something.

Hi Cole
I really like the color palette you have here it looks great with your background image all the cool colors just work together so well. I like how you have your name as a different font type so it stands out from everything else. This looks super good!

Hi Cole!
Your whole design gives a very professional, classic, and personalized esthetic, and I am loving it! I think your name in the cursive style really compliments your background and other type styles nicely! Nice work!
