hey, I really like the theme of trees because of the play on your name. I also see your business card theme for Rons class in there, I think that this is the perfect way to incorporate everything that you're learning at the moment. I think this looks very professional but I would maybe make the background a cream or light grey color, all that white is very harsh on the eyes for us people with bad vision.

Hey Cedar,
These final designs look great! I love how you made the photograph of the trees in the background a little transparent in order to see your navigation bar on top, otherwise, they would have been lost to the busy background. I also do enjoy the layout of your entire composition as well, whereas the user can start from the top left with your initials to the course information at the bottom right--gaining all the information in the middle without interruption--great readability and hierarchy. So far, the only suggestions I have for these designs would be about the navigation bar; instead of the color black, I think you could have set it to something brighter in color or simply plain white (that way, they will be even more visible to the user without having to search longer than necessary for it on your site). Other than that, I'd say these designs are perfect for the project's final because they satisfy every requirement! Great work!

Hi Cedar

Your design is clear and concise, I like the logos but think you need to choose either the initials or the tree, maybe even combine them? The only real issue I have is this tiny rectangle photo you have squished down by your body copy. Maybe add another triangle similar to your background and place your picture there instead?

Hi Cedar,
This is an engaging design and message. I love the trees, love the name, and glad you explained, My name is Cedar... because it could look like a lumber company, and what a great name it would be for one! I was pondering how you decided to include that photo of yourself on the mountain, and, I'm wondering, 'with all that white space from the snow, which could be brightened, even, you could just blow up your photo there till it fills all the white space, and place your text stuff right on top of the snowy white areas. Then we can see the picture of you/the person. Cause that's a lot of white space that the photo is not even trying to use. And the mountain side and peaks are so picturesque... why so small?
I like your logo, very cool; and the pine tree graphic. I think your email and GRC lines are a bit too close to the bottom edge, and, I would take your photo and replace the trees with it, and put the trees in a little lighter screen on the other half, under your text. Everyone is going to want to blow up that little photo: Maybe you can make it a flyout blowup. I have no idea how that's done. It's a really nice, attractive, well-organized page, both versions. :- )

Hey Cedar!

I really like your composition with the half trees half type! It works super well for a web design and you pulled it off great! I think the black navigation type would work better is it was white it would make it more legible and it would add a sense of balance matching the white type with the white background of the bottom half.

Hi Cedar,
I like how original and balanced your design is, I also think your name in this typestyle goes well with the forest background. I am not sure that your subheader fonts are working well with the rest of your typestyles. It is a cool design overall!
