I love the images and colors you chose for both layouts. For Layout 1, There should definitely be more contrast between the text and the background. I think in the mobile design, you could shrink down the logo and black bar at the top just a little more to make some more room for your name to be bigger. Either that or use a bolder type.
I think the text placement in the second layout works more than #1 because you can see the white text so much better against the dark waves of the ocean. I'm gonna go with #2 as my favorite. Again, I think the "GRC..." text could be a bit darker or bolder so it is easier to see. Also, don't forget your e-mail!
