First of all, great designs. However, your first design is the strongest one here. You using your colors pretty well here as well as your fonts. The whole layout gives a very professional feel. It is simplistic but clean.
Something that I would suggest is the empty space on your design. Maybe you should make your type bigger to fill that empty space. Your mobile version also has a lot of empty space. You should make your navigation buttons a bit bigger, and place your photo above your bio.
Besides that, your design is pretty good. Nice Job!

I agree with the class the first design's color palette is great! I might suggest either making your text bigger or possibly aligning your text to the left to give balance to your photo. I think going with a simple approach to a website is the way to go. Simpler designs give clients easy access to your work so great job!
