Nicole,
Nice job on both sites. I really like the stripes in the bottom corner of your project 2 footer. I bring the page together and provides some nice unity. Nice work.

I thunk that you should have your links on your portal not go all of the way black, maybe they should just go a slight grey instead. there is already enough black on your page and I think you could take a more subtle approach. On your project two the horse seems out of place. have you considered taking the photo of the horse and leaving in some of the ground and fading it into those lines?
