I already know you are talented from our Grc132 animation class, and I am so happy we are in the same class again. I like both of your home pages, nice color choice,layout,clean and legible. for your rough 1(shows on bottom one) :your name and TMCC logo stand well on the blue back ground color. I know it is your rough, if you want me to pick something, I would say the buttons for the project#1，#2 ，and about me are little get lost on my screen, how about a bolder font for that? I really like your rough 2(the top one), if you choose this one for your final, there is no need to worry about the images. You can easily change them with your own art works, right?. Hi Elizabeth,
I like both layouts for different reasons. The top one has a cool logo on top. I think that is professional and personal. The buttons seem large compared to the body type though. The second is very clean and the image is stunning, but a different feel to it. Depends on what you are going for. Looking forward to seeing either be developed.

Both of your designs are very nice. Even though I do think the second design is a lot cleaner, I prefer the first simply because it seems more personal.

Your color choice for the first one is nice, but there's a bit of a disconnect between the pink of the bicycle and the lighter pink in the rest of the design. I think putting the buttons for the projects in with the rest of your navigation would help tidy up the design, as well as straightening out the images. I think your style of font works for your name, but is a little too thin. A script font with a little bit more body to it, and possibly a tad bigger, might help it command the attention that it needs to.

Your second design has that great picture, nice typeface choice for the navigation, but I think is held back by the fact that it all seems disjointed. For the size of your nav text, I think the bar itself is much too tall. And again it seems odd that the project links and about sections aren't part of the navigation. As to the text at the bottom, you could try removing the blue bar entirely and placing those elements directly on the image, with a very diffuse cast shadow to help separate them from the image.

I realize that I may have sounded a bit harsh--I didn't mean to! I think your designs are looking very good so far and I just wanted to help you improve them! I'll definitely be looking forward to how your final design turns out.
