Great designs, Vicki! It's a tough choice, but I think I lean more toward the second one with the slideshow of your work on top. The only thing that I might suggest would be considering another color for the background of your bottom containers. The black feels a little heavy for some of your pastel artwork, as well as in combination with your green background on top.

I enjoyed the second one more it seem sleeker and cleaner, more professional than the first one. If you plan on having animations that will be really interesting. Green, black, and white are okay colors, but maybe consider something else? Maybe..?

I like how the second choice highlights your art, but you could use either one. Both are very well done.
