Creative Websites

http://www.dtelepathy.com/
This is a website which has a video back ground that shows what is this website for.
This way is new for me and I thought it's very creative and smart way to show information.

Nice spacing gives it more impact.
Also photos and illustrations fit naturally.

For my layouts, I tried to make them easy on viewers' eyes. Considered about good spacing to make them look professional.
I just created them as "layouts" so I'll put some text about myself into the About area later soon.

All pictures and illustrations are made/taken by myself except TMCC logos which were provided by Michael.

Both of these work well for me. When I first looked at the palm tree layout I wanted the squares to be the same size, but it creates visual interest. Both are great but lack the required paragraph about yourself.

As I scrolled down to your first design I thought, "Nice..." When I scrolled down to the second one I went "Wow!" Obviously I prefer the second design with your face. If you continue with the palm tree design, I would suggest playing with the type color and effects to increase its visibility. The second design layout is working well - I'd be interested to see where you're going to put your paragraph about yourself...

I like the first concept because of the settle color and shading which contrasts the buttons.

Unlike the second concept it's too "one color" and everything blurs.

Both concepts are great, so good job! I think I like your design with the face a little bit more. Its very unique and showcases what you can do. There is a lot of empty space though so maybe try increasing the size of the face and maybe play around with placement for that paragraph about yourself:) Great job!

very nice concepts for both I like your second design a little more because we can see you more of your personality through your illustration. I agree that you'll have to do something about that negative space in the layout to really bring home design wether that messing with the scale or placement of the components of your design. nice work.

Remi,
Good job on both layouts! They are both pleasing to the eye and I like the colors you've chosen. I'm honestly torn as to which I like more. The first one looks clean and professional. I really like how you made diamond buttons as your navigation. And your second one is just as amazing because it shows your art work. So unfortunately I don't have a preference since they both work well!

Hmm, I enjoy both of your layouts for different reasons. You're pulling off the "text and stuff over a photo" layout really well on the first one. Love the diamond buttons and the general layout. I would try and play with my type more, though, and utilize size, color, and placement to bring attention to your main body text since it's kind of lost here.

The second layout is super cute and I love that illustration and the side bar with the photo. The text, however, is lost. Don't be afraid to play with size and try new things. We need these project links to scream "click me" and right now they're just sort of hanging out down there. You can make the whole middle section in your second layout bigger and draw attention to the text that way as well. Sticking some text under the illustration is a nice touch and draws the eye to it, so use it! Perhaps you should move your link buttons to the side bar? That way they have attention drawn to them and they'r not just hanging in space.

I think your second layout is stronger and more unique than the first one, but it's really up to you what feel you want your page to have.

Both of these have great possibilities. But, I prefer the second one more.

Rough 1, palm tree: I like the way you laid it out, and the diamonds add visual interest. It seems feel washed out, though. Darkening the palm pic some would most likely help with that, and adding a small drop shadow under the text would let it stand out against the picture. Also, instead of being black, the header and footer area would make the page more unified if they were one (or two) of the darker brown color(s) from the palm.

Rough 2, face: I like the color scheme and the simplicity of this design. I think mostly what it needs is just some re-arranging. The project and reference links would look good in the plant pic and would leave you ore room for your 'About Me' info. And, if you make your type the same color as the hair, it would help unify this design.

Happy Designing!
