final_project_01

alright everyone heres what I decided to go with I fixed my buttons and moved them out of their black box prison. I also added an image in the background because I felt it was a little empty. please let me know what you think.

Very nice! The grayscale is sophisticated and clean but not overwhelming. I agree the buttons look better in your new placement, and the background image is a nice, subtle touch. The whole layout is very clean and professional looking and your photo adds to the overall feel. Nice hierarchy and font choice. Good job.

I like the use of gray scale. Your use of clean layout and the font choices work well together. Nice site.

Nice layout. The image in the background adds good texture and holds interest. I would like to have seen some color in that stache though.

Adding the background picture was a small stroke of genius. It adds depth to your design and fills it in without being over-powering. The only thing you might consider changing is that you don't need a Project 1 link (this page is Project 1), but you do need Home, Project 2, Project 3, and Resources links.

I really like the B&W vibe and the clean sophistication. Nice structure. I think I'd even suggest further simplifying your font palette to just two, and perhaps a bit more contrast from the Bodoni/Didot and typewriter font to perhaps one specialty font and something even cleaner, like Avenir or Futura. All in all, pleasing to look at. Can't wait to see it build out!

I really like what you did with this design and the background image is great with the strength of the tree running down the left side of the layout. There are a couple of body copy edits needed (caps) and the copy seems to cut off at the end, but maybe you're still working on that. Overall, I think it's a really strong structure with good hierarchy. Well done!

I love how your website came together. You have an eye for design and making things visually appealing. I like the simplistic but classic look and feel of your site. I don't think I would change anything. Great job!

Hey Joe!

I love how your website turned out! Very clean and simple. I think I said this earlier but it reminds me of those nice looking word press profiles. Good job!
