I found a local design team headed by Stan Byers that is one of the best in the state and recognized nationally. I like their website because of the clean look and its simple to navigate.
Black Desert's website is a game I have played for years ever since I spent time in South Korea. Their site is a little more busy with video and moving tabs.

Hey Brandon I really like both designs. I honestly think the first design is a little bit stronger. It is very clean and simple. You have everything on there that is required and it draws peoples attention. The only thing about the design that I think needs improvement would be the colors. I like the blue and the gradient in there but it doesn't pop out like it could if there was more vibrant colors and a little more contrast in the design. Overall they are very nice

Hi Brandon,
I like both designs. I mostly like your first design due to the image and concept of it. The only recommendation would be the colors. They feel very muted and almost gives me a sad feeling. Maybe pull the colors from the image you've chosen of the light bulb? Or bring in the blue from the second design to make it more eye-catching?

Hi Brandon,
I like all your roughs! I think the monochromatic color scheme works well and looks clean (although an accent color wouldn't hurt).
I think the leading of your body copy paragraph needs to be tightened up a bit.

Hello
I like both designs you created but I do like the first one better. Even though its simple the colors your chose are good and can easily be navigated through. The second layout almost feels like a facebook post (no offense). Great job on both

Nice work here, Brandon. I think between the two of them, I like your first rough better. I think it's the margins, transparency, and simplicity that do it for me.
You've got a simple, clean design here that you're adding a lot of visual interest to with some simple designer tricks. I think my favorite part of it is your use of transparency, both in the navigation on the computer layout and the bodycopy container on the mobile layout. Good work with the diamond image container. It breaks up the boxiness a lot of website layouts fall prey to. Your blue-gray works well as a contrast color to set white and lighter colored objects against. I also like the yellow highlight color. It works well with the blue and serves to add warmth to your design. It'd look good as a rollover color on your buttons too, I think. Nice use of that gradient, too. It adds a little bit of visual texture to the whole design to keep people interested and it highlights your name and the pages navigation structure. Good margins throughout your layout. Nice type choices as well. Usually, I'm not a fan of blending serif with sans-serif type, but here it works for some reason. I think it's because your sans-serif type is non-standard and a little more fun than usual.
Just a few quick suggestions. Make sure your email, GRC 175 text, and TMCC logo all have the same baseline on your computer and mobile layouts. I think I'd also play with adding a little bit more white and yellow here and there to break up the blue a bit. My one concern with the sea of blue is that it might get a little monotonous. I think the gradient goes a long way to helping that. But a few contrasting accents wouldn't hurt either.
Nice work!

Hello, I think your designs are a great start! I think playing with how your type is spaced out and size could help improve them. I think I lean towards the second better because of the personal imagery. Great start!

Hi Brandon,
I know I looked at these and then backed away from the computer. I realized that my design would never fare compared to these. If I had to choose the best of the best of your layouts, I would have to choose the one with the image of yourself with your bio. They are both clean and neat. I hope this works and helps for the best outcome for everyone involved.

Hi Brandon, I think that your second rough layout really good and it looks more personal. I really like your use of negative space and I think it is more visually stimulating. The colors are good but I don't know about the gray at the bottom.
