Hi guys,
Here are my final layouts of my website. Thank you for all the critiques. Everyone was super helpful. I decided to go with the cuter kitty cat design. It is more different than what I usually design, so I thought it would be fun to create. I spaced out the typography, replaced the navigation bar with a more circular shape, and resized the cat in the bubble. Let me know what you guys think!

Hi Katelyn,
These look great! The rounded shapes around the character and nav work well with each other, and the font choices work with everything too. I think enlarging the kitty helped to counter that odd "serious business" vibe I had with the roughs. Overall very well done!

Awww! You went with typography kitty. Excellent. This design will serve you well.
It such a clean design, but it's not cold at all. This is largely due to your excellent color choices and the kitty. He's so happy to be there. Your colors make me thing of a pleasant night sky with the cat in the moon. They contrast well too. One color is light enough and the other dark enough to create a good, bright visual difference between the two. Good use of that contrast to create a nice visual heirarchy in your type. Your typography is still working well too. Your sans-serif type does a good job reinforcing the cleanliness of your design. I like the additional spacing between your bodycopy and Contact Me. That establishes a nice separation between the two.
I think the left edge of your navigation could have been even rounder to match the round container of your kitty. Still, what roundness is there does help. Your mobile layout has a weird indent on the bottom line of your bodycopy.
Great work!

Howdy Katelyn!
I really love the cat drawing, and the paw prints along the top are also a very cute touch to pair with it. The deep blue is also a really nice color choice!
