Hey everyone its Taylor! Thank you all on the awesome feedback. It was split down the middle on which design to choose. After reading the comments though it became clear that this design was better. I moved stuff around and fixed up my text.

I am liking what is happening in your layouts, Taylor!
Very modern and aesthetically pleasing to look at. I am liking the font combinations of your serif typeface from your name to the san serif typefaces of the other text. The layouts are clean and consistent. Awesome work!!

Hey Tayl r
Totally dig the contrast used in the design layout. Cheers on legibility. What a handsome profile and your face isn't that bad either. I can't wait for this to be interactive.

Hi Taylor, I really like how there is so much color in this and they go together really well. The background is a really cool picture and goes with your profile pic super well. I would say that the white text box is kind of taking away from the background. Maybe make the words a white color, maybe you've already tried but it looks great either way.

Hi Taylor!
I really love the photos you chose for your site! One small thing, but resources is misspelled on the mobile layout. Other than that I love it!

Re: Final Project One
Nice choice! This one was my favorite of your preliminary designs.
Your background image continues to grow on me. It established a feeling of cool melancholy the pervades the entire composition. It's a good contrast to the much warmer, more vibrant colors in your personal photo. Your header and footer are still framing your content well. I like how your personal image breaks into your header on your computer layout. That's a nice bit of visual ineterst and breaking of expected convention. Your typography is still working quite well too. I appreciate the less shouty, more normal bodycopy. It's not screaming at me anymore. The semi-transparent bodycopy container works well with your image too. It looks like frosted glass.
Both layouts have a few alignment issues that I can see. On the computer layout, if you had scooted your email slightly to the left to line it's left edge up with the left edge of your photo and your contact info and logo left a bit so it's right edge matched the right edge of the top bar. On the mobile layout, I think it would have looked better if your photo and bodycopy were center aligned under your name. Your margins on your bodycopy container are uneven. The type is much closer to the bottom than the top.

Hello Taylor,
Your final designs came together nicely! I really like that the red telephone booth in your personal photo draws your eye in that way. I also like the way you've balanced your image/body copy in your mobile layout between the left and right sides. The fade from the image into the header on your mobile version is also really cool. Overall, your layouts are super easy to read and navigate through and has a really clean appearance.
