Hi guys,
Here are my two concepts. The first set is more clean, but I really wanted to play with different greens. (Not really fan of our current green haha). And the second is more abstract and is meant to show how we create imaginative, fun things within this program. (Also, I don't have mobiles for this set because, since it's the end of the semester, Photoshop is running out of scratch disk space on my computer so I've been trying to figure that out for the past few days.) Anyways, can't wait to hear your guys' feedback.

Hi Rowena,
I really like your first design, the layout look good, and the fade on the image works well. The only thing I might change the color of the boxes so that they are similar to the TMCC’s colors. Great job!

Hello Rowena,
These look awesome! I love how you changed the color of the TMCC green. I prefer your first design. It looks very professional. It's easy to navigate and read. It is very visually appealing. I would change the image on each individual slide, and on the mobile version, I would make the body copy a bit bigger because it is hard to read. Great job!

Re: Project 04 Preliminary!
You and me both, Rowena. You and me both. TMCC's green is an ... unpleasant color. I'm glad you ditched it in your second design, which is the better of the two of these anyway. Feel free to use the white and black versions of the logo. Never feel pressured to use the green.
The thing that strikes me off the bat is the textbook perfect use of margin throughout this layout. It's not too much and it's not too little, but everything has enough room to breathe without fragmenting. The second thing that stands out to me is that kickass little collage you've made for your page title. I like the interaction between the shot of you working on your laptop and the vector graphics around it. They overlap and create depth. I also like your colorscheme as well. You establish all the colors in your collage and then spread them (or tints and shades of them) out throughout your layout. For a mostly pastel colorscheme, you seem to have plenty of contrast by and large.
Too bad we don't see the mobile concept for your second version. I'm losing your type on your main navigation buttons as they are. Your pastels are a little light for white type. I think if you made the type black, they'd pop nicely though. I'd add a little more imagery on your inner pages too. Just some small images that illustrate your content. Adjust the alignment of your bodycopy container so that it's left and right edges are the same as your light green title boxes left and right edges.
Good job!

Hi Rowena,
I think both of your designs are very nice. I like the second one the best because it is a little different. The mixed media looking design with the hands typing on the computer is really creative. The pastel colors also really work well together. I think it is a fun design to experiment with. It is all lined up nicely as well and seems easy to navigate and red. Good job.

Hi Rowena,
Super cool concepts you have here! I really like how you have a more traditional layout for the first one with the image that covers a lot of the page, and then the second one that's a bit more playful and has some really cool tabs to it. Personally, I think I'm leaning towards your second layout because I love the colors you picked for it. I especially like the design with the computer it's super fun and creative and definitely promotes graphic design. My only suggestion is that the text is a bit hard to read in the boxes with the second design so maybe trying to make the boxes slightly darker or picking a bolder sans serif font to make the white pop out would work better. Other than that, great job!

Hi Rowena!
I love your second design! I think it is so unique but still reminds me of tmcc. It is very artistic in terms of theme and I love the type you chose as well as the colors. It's so easy on the eyes and very nice to look at. Really clean and creative design, awesome job!

Re: Project 04 Preliminary!
Hi Rowena,
I definitely like your first design over the second. I like the green you are using but think it really makes the TMCC logo stand out, which is not bad, but I think you could find a better shade of green or other color that better compliments the logo color and have it all tie in together as a whole. I like that you have at least one image on the front page that has a gradient going left to right on top of it in order for the text to stand out against the image. I also like the squares with each section for people to click on underneath it. Beside playing with the colors, all I van say is to watch the spacing in your navigation, otherwise great start!

Hello Rowena,
Great designs, i really like the pastle color schemes you went with. The second one I like the most, there is a great variety of color and the graphic you made for the program is great. I think that you should add some imagery in the second concept, of course things that relate to the program like you did with the graphic.
