Hi Hazzie,
These are both awesome layouts and I love the darker theme matched with the bright green that is TMCC. Both layouts looks so good and give the program an edge. I do think the background image is working better in the first one with the computer(?) and pen on the green background. I especially love how it looks on the faculty page behind the images and text.

These both look great! I think you could choose either design for your website. I love your staff and faculty's page . Both designs are very professional and look slick. I think you made the TMCC green work, and I like the fonts you chose. I agree with Jacklyn in that I really like the image you used in your first design. I think it looks very professional. However, you made the other image work as well. Great job!

Oh I love the dark background for both of the designs. I'm a sucker for contrast. I think I like your second one the best. I like the background image you used and the way that it focuses just on the hand and mouse. I also really like the font you used with the shadows. The navigation is super simple and it works well! It is easy to read and everything really pops out at you. I also like the way you laid out your page for the instructors. The boxes with the photos and the information are all organized nicely next to each other and the way the photos criss cross going down the page helps the viewers eyes move down while reading the information (hope that makes sense). I think it looks great. Nice job,

Oh! These are really good looking. Awesome job, Hazzie! I like your second one better, but only by a hair. I think it's the more colorful imagery.

Even before the picture though, what really jumps out at me is that hard edge alignment on the home page. Look at that right edge that is shared by your navigation, your headline, and your bodycopy. So sharp. And then we get to the image. It's extremely well chosen since it works on so many levels. One it's artistic and creative, two it shows a student doing something that they'll be doing in the program, and three, it's got gaps in the focus and brightness to insert type. Excellent! Speaking of that type, it's well chosen too. It's just a little off the norm, which creates extra visual interest for your users. Good job making the TMCC green not look just godawful as well. It works with the colors in your image and contrasts nicely against it. Your navigation is well placed and easy to see and use, too.

Watch your margins on your inner page. Everything is a little bit more crowded. Your first design has a bit better inner page margins. Also watch your right bodycopy and headline margin on the mobile home page. It's a little tight to the right edge.

Both of your concepts look really good. The dark background work very well. I think either of them will work great for the website, but I think I prefer the first one because if the imagery chosen and Navigation. The black and white color mode for the faculty is also very cool.

Personally, I think the first design is my favorite, but the second one definitely pertains more to tmcc than the first! I think both have their strengths and both are really fun! I especially love the Trixe and Katya cameo's lol! I think both of your designs in terms of layout and colors are really neat, awesome job

I would absolutely die to have these professors. Excellent choice in staff & faculty. Personally, I really, really like your first concept. I really enjoy the drawing tablet as the background image, the text color, and everything. It's all very clean. The instructor page Also looks great with the first one and the background compliments it all very well. Cool outer glow with the pictures as well. Amazing job!
