Hey everyone,

Here's my link: https://www.grc175.com/student/spring-2022/yen-nguyen/ This was definitely challenging. I am still working out some of the issues. I still have a lot to fix but so far this is what I have and this is the closest I'll get for now. Rest assured, I'll get that coloring right one day. I got the dropdown menu working and I'm trying to add more fun features like that. I hope to add more fun things while also trying to make it look better.

Hi yen
this is coming along so well your imagery is so good and your colors for your type are great! i also had problems positioning my type to fit where i wanted it and i just kept tweaking the padding and eventually everything kind of fit how i wanted it to. this is really great!

Hey Yen,
Amazing color scheme! I love how the text matches the hues of the photo on the right, especially when the buttons are highlighted. However, I don't think that the background of your website is the right size, I tried it viewing on a 1920px X 1080px display, but it seems to stretch out sideways rather than fill up the screen. I then tried opening it up on my phone to see if you chose the mobile format, but it doesn't fit the frame there either--so I would suggest trying to fix this issue in the future. But besides that, I think this website is on the right track! (P.S. I also love that dog photo!).

Hi Yen!

Pop! That color scheme of your site still gets me every time I see it - it's so beautiful! The aesthetic you're going for here is one of my favorites. You've got a great eye for design! :)

I think you got a very good start here as it is starting to resemble your original design. Your links and drops downs work fine for the point you're at with this. Also, props on the hover nav animations for those!

Obviously the margins and padding of your site needs some work for your body and background as well as some css adjustments. I can relate as this was my first time doing html css ever and I couldn't even tell you how many hours I had to dissect how to do what and even still, I sometimes wonder how I did what I did lol. Anyways point is keep working at this and it'll start looking more and more like your original concept (just takes unfortunately even more blood, sweat and tears). Great work and keep at it!

Best,
Zach

Hi Yen, This overall design continues to please even though it's still a work in progress: it works. The picture is so pleasant, you barely have to address the fonts and spacing... and there is something extra in quietly thanking people for visiting. You are welcome! :- ) And thank YOU. Noted: you did get stuff done here, your central design prevails and none of the html or css fails. :- )

Hi Yen! I like how you have a good sense of visual movement from the wine bottle top to your name as the header. My critique would be that your nav links look like they are crammed into a corner and lose their hierarchy in the overall design. Nice imagery!

Hey Yen,
Cool site, bit hard to read when it comes to the body text. Though I really like the design of it. i like the boldness of your name. I also like that color choice. Good job.
