Hello guys! My name is Sophia Gomez Mendoza known as Zer0GGsth in my logo as my artist name. So these are my 2 rough web designs for PC and Mobile. For this project, I've been doodling at the most, agreeing how it's going to be for my website. Plus, leave space to add projects, resources, and contacts. It made it difficult for me to start designing and I have used these 4 designs in Photoshop and Illustrator separately. Especially, I am Sonic fan.
In my first design I added my avatar icon and my logo in the front to present me as an artist name, and I found these arcade fonts. I decided to gradient my favorite colors: Blue and Black which represent myself. This one I used in Photoshop.
For the second design, I have made my all Sonic Transforms in Illustrator, and then I designed differently adding black rectangle as a decoration for the patterns
Although I don't have finish yet to introduce my bio.
These are the inspirational resources that caught my attention for web design

Hi Sophia,
I really your logo. It's cool! Both of your design are looking good. The blue one (first design from top) catches my eyes at first. I like how you gradient the background. The second design seems a little bit easier to read. I like how you use your logo as your background and extend it down into the bottom of the page too.

Hi Sophia!
I love your logo on both designs! As a Sonic the Hedgehog fan, I enjoyed seeing those dark blue and white colors from the game/tv show. I also liked the use of font on the second version this project, because it reminded me of turning on my Sega Genesis console, ready to play the Sonic the Hedgehog game.
Good job, and I look forward to seeing the final product!

Hey Sophia! I like your layout and designs! I love the top 1920 by 1080 one with the mesh blue/black background! The top buttons also have a cool type font and mesh well with the overall vibe you're going for! I like it! Great job

Well, I think this is the first Sonic OC I've seen on a project in all the years I've been teaching GRC 175. I'm honestly surprised it took this long, truth be told. Your first one is the stronger design. Go with that.
That blue to black background gradient is strong. Both colors are dark enough that the white/light stuff you put on top really shines against it. I'm a fan of the 8-bit video game type. It helps establish the vibe of this webpage. Your logo type is fun as well, "sketchy" in a good way. The layout itself is surprisingly simple, but well done and very clean. The gradient and fun logo do a lot of the heavy lifting here and that really works for you. I like the round cutout around your photo as well. Makes you look like a selectable character in an indie game. Your navigation is easy to see and hypothetically use.
Watch your margins between your subhead, bodycopy, and image on your mobile version. I'd be tempted to ditch your sans-serif typeface and just go full 8-bit video game typeface for the whole thing. Maybe make a pixel art TMCC logo. Hee!
Good work!

Hi, Sophia! As a sonic lover myself I have to say I love your website! The colors and graphics look amazing and I think you did really well on this. I also love the sonic pattern in the background.

Hi Sophy!
This might be my favorite, as a gaming nerd I love the Sonic appearance and overall presentation of both roughs. The photo's blue background is a nice match as well. My favorite has to be the blue, as the digital typeface is perfect, good weight and size. Great job!

Hi, Sophia
Well done on these webpages. I really like what you did with the second page, placing the repeating pattern in the background give the page some nice depth and also pushes all your information to the forefront. Good Job!

Hi Sophia!
I really like your first design. I think the gradient works so well for the website and looks super clean. I do really enjoy the picture banner you have on the second layout, maybe it would look cool on the first? Just an idea but the layouts are looking great!

Hi Sophia!
I really love all the blues and your nod to the Sonic games in your website design! I think the pixel/video game font in both designs really help tie everything together and create a theme. Amazing job!
