Project 1 Critique

Hello class! These are my project 1 rough drafts.
So in my research links, you'll notice I used two Comic artist websites as my inspiration. Since I am Pimpycorny on social media/ the internet I decided to add my mascot to the desktop one and like the comic artist, I wanted a more drawn-by-hand look. That's why I used a marker-type font for much except the body of the text. I also liked that some websites I saw had a photo of the artist and mascot together and I wanted to replicate it. As for the mobile side, it had a less drawn-by-hand look but I still kept the theme the same. I wasn't sure if I should've added my mascot here because I was tight on room but definitely something I could add. As one of my links talks about, I wanted the UI (User interface) to be simple and easy to understand.
I decided to go with orange and black rather than blue and black. I really like how the white pops out on the about me and how the buttons for the project, resources, and artwork came out for the mobile. I feel like I still want people to look at this and get a comic artist vibe from it. The layout for the desktop is different and I feel like the body of text about me isn't in the best spot. Was maybe thinking of also adding a white box to it to make it easier to read. I also can't decide which color choice is best. Blue seems like it's easier on the eyes, but the orange seems more professional. Any advice or tips would be great and appreciated!
