GRC 175 Learning and Discussion Forum

Hello, everyone!!!

I took a lot of everyone's feedback and applied it to my final layout. I also took "inspiration" from Percy and added a separate "window" for my email, thanks Percy . I added a task bar, changed the colors of the doodles in the paint window, added some better detail to the edges of the windows, and added some more info about myself + worked a bit more with hierarchy and colors in the Notepad window.

Ha! Love the zany spirit on display here. You were right to mark it as radioactive.

The middle-school Windows 3.1 vibe shines through strongly. And you've tuned it up some more. What really impresses me about your design is your color choices. They're all bring and bold, but they never manage to clash, wither with each other or with the composition as a whole. Your type continues to work great too. Very early 90's computing. Such a perfect in character layout for a persona you've clearly had fun making. And you vandalized your own picture. Lol! This is a textbook layout for CSS absolute positioning, too. Position your boxes with percentages and then let everything flow between resolutions. You won't need many media queries with a design like this.

Your margins in your bodycopy area are a little tight. Aside from that there's not much wrong here.
