hello everybody!
Here is my final version of project 2. I had to re upload my project since the links for my images were broken. I enjoyed learning how to code everything with html and css. I watched and read a bunch of articles, tutorials and all the lectures to be able to understand what I was doing. I gotta say it kind of drove me crazy a few times, but I made it. I also had to change my font. For some reason I could not find any web library that has the original font which is called katari, not even adobe. The links on the navigation menu are made with images. They are all functional and are linked to external websites. At the end I'm happy I could make the design look like my layout. The only thing that I'm not happy with is that my website is not responsive to mobile device view. Other than that, feel free to give me some feedback.

Hi Miguel,
I think your website looks great! You did a really good job of duplicating your original project one design. I think the responsive links are awesome! My advice would be to alter the link so it opens in a new tab after you click it rather than leaving your site to go to the external links.
Overall great job!

Hey Miguel,
Great work! All of your images look great I like the background stays the same and the composition looks perfect. The only thing is your last name is behind your navigation. Trust me this project was challenging and drove me crazy too! Great job!

Site looks really cool so far! Could use some adjustable sizing for mobile and smaller web windows, but looks great nonetheless. I'm interested to see your design work when its all done. i'm assuming you can draw pretty well?

You've done a great job realizing your Project One design here, Miguel.
I was wondering how that cool background image of yours would turn out in the browser, and the answer is pretty damn good. I like your choice to fix it and have all your content scroll over it. The skeuomorphism of your design translated quite nicely as well. The sketch notepaper effect and the multiple stacked pages effects turned out very well. As did the "hand drawn" primary navigation. Good use of type throughout as well. That marker font displays quite nicely in the browser. Great contrast throughout your design as well.
I think your main nav could use some sort of rollover color change or shift to let people know those are buttons when they mouse over 'em. I'm not sold on the default like blue on the email link.
Good work!

Hello Miguel,
I liked your proj 1 and this made it into a reality. I can feel your style and the site feels like an experience. I think if you were to add something is possibly integrate the header type and name into the background and color scheme. Otherwise super job!

Miguel,
This looks really epic! I love the overall art-and-illustration theme. Your last name at the top is hiding behind your paper images, and your class info is running off the page a bit at the bottom. But overall, it looks great. I also like the bold navigation on the left side.
