GRC 175 Learning and Discussion Forum

Long story short, I moved my index file mistakenly after I was finished with the site, which broke ALL the things. I tried moving it back, and it only resulted in grounding the remaining fragments of my site into virtual dust, and I was absoultely devastated. Luckily, I had previously and accidentally uploaded my site to the wrong section of the server and was able to download and retrieve my pristine, undestroyed site with the help of our fearless leader Michael. So after a change of pants and a couple cold Newcastles, project one is finished!

Sounds like something I almost went through last night, I thought I lost all my slices and original PSD files folder when transferring files on my hardrive, I was seconds away from tears until I found it sitting there all alone in some random place, still not sure how they managed to get there but none the less it scared the life out of me for a moment.

great job Drew, love the 404 pages

Great design. I think you captured the Mario theme very well. The 404 pages is a cool idea, but there's no way to go back to the index once you reach those pages aside from the back button.

This looks great look what you have done with your background. Great graphics! Glad you were able to find your site and get it were it needed to go. I started over with my psd's and made a few changes. Went quicker the second time. Can't believe I forgot to link my buttons. It was 5pm and had to pick up the kids. Should have checked before I left. All well that ends well.

I almost want to hear the Mario theme music when I open this. I like it a lot and I'm glad you found all of your files. I, too, have had to recreate my files more than once. I still don't have it live yet, my internet at home is somehow blocking it.

I love the graphic you choose of the clouds and green tube. I dont like the scroll, but thats just personal preference. good job i think you nailed the feel of it.
