Don't Panic!
Don't Panic!
Hi all, Edward-or-Eddie-or-E.K.-just-not-Ed-here. I'm a web development major and have this semester and next fall left until I graduate. I enjoy pork tenderloin sandwiches, RC Cola, Marlboro Lights, VIM, Slackware, skiing, reading, digital photography, and spending time with my family and my dog Bean (www.facebook.com/TheBeanDog). I'm looking forward to learning the 'softer side' of the web. I do have some graphic design experience but it was all self-taught. I started doing page layout with Adobe Pagemaker version 1 on a mac cube in 1988 -- when no one except Kinko's had a laser printer to print camera-ready art. I put myself through 2 years of college designing two college newspapers and some magazines for Northern States Power Company and the Minnesota Attorney General's Office. I'm really looking forward to codifying the random graphic design intuitions floating around in my brain.

I shan't panic. For I have my towel.
Welcome, Erik.
First gen Macintosh, huh? Wow, I haven't played with one of those in years. Fun times.ekfulton wrote:I started doing page layout with Adobe Pagemaker version 1 on a mac cube in 1988 -- when no one except Kinko's had a laser printer to print camera-ready art.
Welcome, Erik.
