Hello

Post by dboudinot »

Hi everyone, my name is Dominique Boudinot.
  • I am excited at the prospect of design, not as excited at the prospect of writing code.
    My favorite color is green.
I have to leave ten minutes early in order to find my shoes because my ferrets Koda and Kira hide them.
I am excited to graduate in the spring.

Looking forward to another semester!

Hello Dominique. Welcome to the island of misfit toys.

I've never been excited at the prospect of writing code and I've been doing it for 18 years. Image

Never would have guessed.

Put them to work writing code! That'll kill two birds with one stone.

Awesome! Congratulations on surviving the program. Always good to see more talented people emerging into the industry.

Hi Dominique, my name is Amy! Green is a great color! By the way, I was thinking about getting a ferret but heard some negative things like: that they still your staff and that they smell bad. Sound like the theft problem is real, lol, what about the smell? Overall, are they pretty hard to take care?

Hi Amy,

To answer your ferret question, I don't think they smell bad as long as you keep their cage and hammocks clean and wash them on a semi-regular basis. If you get them at a pet store, they usually come descented. They are not particularly hard to take care of because they sleep a lot, but they do have a problem digging through carpet and stealing random objects like clothing and batteries. Ferrets are a really fun pet on the whole, lots of energy when they are awake, and they can't bark, which is awesome when you want to sleep!
