Project 1 Final

Post by kiwakom »

Hi, I'm Kiwako.
This is my final design.

I made some changes in my design. Thanks for giving me many feedback.
So I changed navigation buttons, font size and the position.
Also I increased the leading on the body copy, and fixed my background photo a bit.

Hi Kiwako,
Great Job! I really liked this one for a couple reasons. I absolutely love your background image as all of us did I think :-) It adds a personal and professional look and feel to your design. I like how you placed your content, navigation, images, etc. on the black box to the left. I think that it creates a unique and clean layout. I am glad you added the logo from your other page it looks nice there.

Hi Kiwako!

Your page looks great! I, too, am glad that you included your logo. The only suggestions that I have are to fix the typo on the word, favorite, and to change,'love trip', to love travel. Beautiful work!

Hi, Kiwako!

I love how your website turned out. Very nice feel with the background image of the trees, and I like that your main content is placed in the bottom left corner, and the layout. It's very unique and varies from most websites where everything is centered!

Van Gogh said this. Not the real one, probably, just the one in that episode of Doctor Who.

Looks good Kiwako!
It makes me want to see your pictures form your trips! Instead of a comma you can put and in between the love to travel and drink coffee. =)

Hi Kiwako,
I think your website design looks very professional. I especially like the asymmetrical composition and your logo mark. As others mentioned, I would correct the typos/grammatical errors. Great job!

This is a wonderful design! The bamboo photo is very whimsical, as are the colors, and I feel like there's something bright and magical hidden behind them. I don't know why, it just immediately makes me think of something fantasy related. I love that. Your name and logo on the right is awesome! They suit the overall layout. My suggestion would be to change the main content block to something other than black, because it feels like it's overpowering all the other elements. As for the color, I would use that gorgeous purple of the bamboo, with a light opacity. Good job though!

Kiwako…your home page is professional and just plain awesome. It looks like a home page from a big corporation site. The background photo brings you into the scene and the black transparent box seems perfect. The little circle photos of what you like are a nice added personal touch. Your name and logo are creative. Suggesting anything else would mess it up. Great job!

Hi Kiwako,
I like your final project one. However I was wondering if that is a photo of yourself? If so I would enlarge it to take up that entire block you have it in and lose the coffee. I know you love it but I think it doesn't click with the rest of the idea of your design. I think your buttons could also be a little larger to make it have more hierarchy. I love the photo you included as your back round.
Good job.
