This is it
I decided to go with the sticky notes for buttons, even though it is more widely used among websites, I felt it was more applicable than the elevator buttons idea. I also have on every other slide, what the rollover state will likely end up looking like.

Even though sliders are also widely used, I felt they were more diverse; giving me the ability to easily add, subtract or replace however many pictures I wanted (Vicki is only five possibilities of pictures, if I only wanted three, it would look incomplete and if I wanted more than five, I would have to completely redesign my page). Also I will be switching out some of the art as we go throughout the semester; I’m just still deciding what pieces to use, so nothing has changed in that regard, please be aware of this.

I went with Jenna Sue for the handwritten type feel I wanted. Even though this font is much better than a lot of the script fonts out there, it was still hard to read in a paragraph so I went with Arial in the body.

I’m also uploading the roughs so you can see the differences and what I went with.

I really like the first one. I think your sticky note idea is working really well. I just feel like the "welcome to my website" font might be too simple.

This is looking really well done and very professional. My only suggestion would be a different typeface (bolder and better for headlines) for welcome to my website. I know I was there when you were having trouble with it but I like the way the font looked better than the san serif one you have now on your body copy. It was a nice touch on the paper image.

So cute! I like everything you did with this. I really have no suggestions, it looks great. The writing on paper and sticky notes compliments your sketches nicely :)

I feel like there may be too many moving pieces with the animated scrolling headline and the moving sticky notes. Good color scheme.

I think you made the right choice on your layout. I think the corkboard background for your content areas is working well. I like the stickynote buttons as well. The way they turn on rollover is a nice touch. The lined paper works well, also, but is going to be tough to pull off on the real version. Your layout is clean and easy to follow and lets it's texture and imagery do the talking. The visual center of the piece is your large slideshow up at the top. That'll really make or break it when you start building it for real. Typographically, it seems to work too.

The only thing missing is depth. I think it needed a pattern and drop shadows in the green background in order to give it that last bit of visual interest. Maybe some metal frames around the coarkboards.

Good work. I'd like to see it when it becomes real.
