Re: Project 3 - Larry Rubald

Nice job Larry, I like all of it. The only thing I can see may be a problem is the seal in the background of the header. I don't really know what it is. Maybe just take it out or replace it with something else. I didn't have the actual TMCC seal to work with, so I had to get the NSHE seal as a jpg ...

Turned out pretty well. I think it's the best of the three you did this semester.

Project 3 - Larry Rubald

So, my project 3 is complete and up.... http://grc175.com/student/fall_2011/lawrence_rubald/index.php?op=projects (click on the project 3 icon) Much like project 2, I kinda went back to the drawing board after the initial critique. Re: Project 3

Something that just occurred to me for the transparency thing (although I likely would have done the transparent image solution too) but instead of trying to make separate divs and place them on top of each other (which is more trouble than it's worth) try nesting the divs as you normally would and ...

Re: Project 3

a few things that immediately stick out to me: - increase the resolution of the TMCC logo. It's broken and hurts man. - look at Hilary's project 2 (or just exercise some google-fu) and find a script that resizes your background image to the size of the window. - make sure your blue box extends at le...

If the float doesn't work, please post your code. Otherwise, we'll just be guessing in the dark. ;)

Re: New Roughs - Matthew Minten

I kinda dig the brick... though I might consider taking it all the way to the top. Not sure if that would work (it would cover part of the tips of your neon) but the free standing wall feels a little weird to me. Also, I'm not in love with the typeface of your banner.... though it's not exactly awfu...
