Project 1 Final

Post by Hana_Mikie »

Hello Everyone~

I did some touch ups and listened to everyone's feedback. I changed the font for my body and kept it the same type for the class name. It's small changes, but it's more readable and cleaner in my opinion. :) I kept the aesthetic yet simple theme, but used font that were more formal yet casual. When designing my website, I wanted it to be easy to use but soft on the eyes which is similar to the websites I was inspired by~

The two websites that inspired me:
https://emilyhogarth.com/
https://www.pascalvangemert.nl/

The two websites with information about web design:

https://www.forbes.com/advisor/business ... n-website/

Nice! You've made some good revisions here, Hannah.

As with your preliminary work, this design has great contrast. I also like how the sky strips soften everything as well. You've created a good eye-track through your design. The eye starts with your picture and then immediately swings to your biographical information. The sky strips act as channels for the eye. Good choice with your typefaces. The script headline type plays well with the serif bodycopy. Pretty good margins across the whole thing, I'd say. It's a very comfortable viewing experience.

Your navigation is not vertically aligned between the two nav bars and your class info is not vertically aligned in your header.

Good work!

Hi Hannah,

You have a great design. I like the contrast between your picture, the background, and the type. But you made it so there is still balance! The type is really nice and adds a lot to your design.
Very clean and easy to navigate.

Great job,
Rebekah

Hi Hannah,
I like the script font you chose for your name and the "about me". Both fonts you chose balance each other well. This is a very simple and easy design which I like when I'm looking at websites. Great work! I cant wait to see it up and running.

Hi Hannah.
I love the contrast on your design. Your choice on type is great and readable. The whole design is visually interesting. I don't really have a lot to add other than great job.
