Oh this one's rad! There's some textbook skeuomorphism going on here. Love the visual texture of the whole thing.
That distressed paper texture is doing so much work here. It adds such visual interest and depth. I feel like I'm peeking in someone's scrapbook. Love that subtle drop shadow too, to add depth. And the transparent tape strips. Looking so good. So many little details in this thing, like the dried flowers taped to it. Your navigation is certainly easy to see and hopefully to use. I like the use of the sticky notes. Typographically this thing is working pretty darn well. Your font choices are good and seem like they're preprinted on the paper that you've put in your scrapbook. Everything is very simple form a layout perspective, but you knew that going into it and used your cool skeuomorphism to captivate our eye. And it works!
I think the edges around your picture and the fox stamp could have been broken up so they're not such hard squares. Also, I think the class info could have been centered under your paper on your computer layout and kicked out of the paper on the mobile layout so it matches your computer version better.
Nicely done!

Hey Lucio! Really loved how you went with this design and considered recent trends to further strengthen what you have! Overall I feel like its a very unique site and shows a ton of personality. The stained paper look and the tape on the edges really immerses you into the website.

Hi Lucio,
I like the sketchy art style you went with for your website! The portrait you chose fits very well into the design. It almost reminds me of an old Western Wanted poster with the scratchy elements and paw print detail. Overall I think this website is laid out very well and the spacing looks pretty good as far as I can tell. The one thing I would change is the font you chose for your Projects and Resources tab, I think you could include a more stylized font to fit better with the theme of your website. I think it looks great and I am looking forward to the final result!

Hello Lucio,
Love your layout, making even the images fit the hand-drawn atheistic really helps tie the whole thing together. I also really like the way you used the "paper" for the projects and resources panel although the bright white does drag the eye a little it really eases the navigation of the website.
