The Room is an independent film created by a man named Tommy Wiseau, released in the summer of 2003. The film was written, directed, and stared by Wiseau himself and co-starred Wiseau's close friend Greg Sestero and Juliette Danielle. While it was initially met with poor reviews, it has since recieved a cult following due to its bizarre structure and acting, and gets played in theaters around the United States to this day.
