Dan Bouweraerts has worked in the graphics industry for over 25 years and taught at the community college level for 23 years. He graduated from Santa Monica College, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and the University of Nevada, Reno. He is currently chairman of the Graphic Design department. Dan's motto is, "There's nothing better for me than standing in the classroom teaching, and there's no better place to do that than TMCC."
Brian earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University, studied Character Animation at California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), and earned an MFA from UCLA's School of Theater, Film and television. His professional Hollywood animation experience includes Character Layout Artist on "The Simpsons", as well as work at the Ren and Stimpy creator's studio "Spumco". Brian has taught for over 15 years in higher education, and spends the rest of his time roaming the Pacific Northwest and Great Basin wilderness with his wife Cheryl and son Donovan.
Ron Marston has been the owner of Marston Ptero Works since 2007, and offered freelance design work in the Reno area for over 12 years. He earned his Master's Degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Lesley University in 2002. He has taught Graphic Design at TMCC for over 16 years and currently holds a Faculty Senate Chair on campus.
Michael, otherwise known as "MTGG, Beard" and "Gentle Giant", has been Director of Graphic and Web Design at SWAG/Blue Moon since 2008. He ran his own business, MTGG Design, from 1996 to 2008. He has taught at TMCC since 2006 where he mastered a unique talent for combining voiceover and sound effects with visual demonstration of Adobe software.
