The instructors for the Graphic Communications program are all extremely skilled professionals that have been invloved in the Reno industry for longer than most of their students have been alive; and that's not saying they're old, they're just very knowledgable. The Typography Master is Dan Bouweraerts. He attented Cal Poly San Luis Obisbo and recieved his BS in Graphic Communications in 1980. He is now the head of the GRC department as well as the Fine Arts department here at TMCC. The Pen Tool Jedi is Ron Marston. He has taught at TMCC for the past 15 years and is now a full time, tenured professor. Ron is also an avid cyclist and owns his own unique moedl airplane company called PteroWorks. Brian Wells is another GRC professor. He is known for his crazy animation skills. He has worked on "The Simpsons" and also has worked for the Ren and Stimpy creator's studio. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University, attended the prestigious California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) where he studied Character Animation, and earned an MFA from UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television. He now teaches apsiring animators at TMCC. The Web Design King, otherwise known as Michael Ganschow-Green, is a fantastic professor with a great knowledge of web design as well as a great eye for design aesthetics. He teaches hopeful web designer here at TMCC and is always avaiable for help.
