Truckee Meadows Community College provides the opportunity for visual artists working with a diversity of socio/cultural themes, a variety of styles, and different genres, to exhibit their works in the College's Art Galleries. The goals of the Art Galleries are to promote dialogue between artists and the public, and to specifically provide an educational arts forum dedicated to innovative programming and artistic excellence for Washoe County and the TMCC community. The exhibitions in the TMCC Art Galleries also serve as a great educational resource for our art history, studio art and art appreciation classes who write papers about the work, as well as reaching out to other departments utilizing visual vocabulary in their curriculum. TMCC Art Galleries are open during regular school hours.
