1981 Fender Strat Pots. Now that Vintage '57 and '62 Strat have soared into the ozone in prices, it's more important than ever to make your guitar "original" before you sell it, or just to know that your prized 1st year Fullerton is 100% Jake. These are from the 32nd week of '81 and include original tan capacitor. They are suitable for an early V57 or V62, the California Series Gold-Gold Strat and Walnut Strat, or the "Smith Strat" from '81/'82. $150/set.
Seymour Duncan Loaded Strat Pickguard, in black pearl with matching back plate. Trio of Seymour Duncans, CTS switch and pots, all wired up and ready to drop in. Pickups are all humbuckers with a JB in the neck; Vintage Rails in the middle; Hot Rail Stacked in the bridge. Please note that the original owner's preference had a neck pickup in the bridge, but the middle and neck pickups are designated for bridge so we can re-wire any way you desire. Purchased new, these pickups are going to set you back $75/each, with another $35 for the guard and back plate, and around another $20 for pots and switch - $280 total - and that's a do-it-yourself price without labor. We'll save you the labor and $100 on the parts. Get the whole deal which is a pro-upgrade for pretty much any Strat, for just $175.
Rio Grande Pickguard Assembly, complete, drop-in ready. Includes Muy Grande, Halfbreed, Vintage Tallboy pickups, pre-wired to pots and 5-way switch. Just connect your output jack and ground wire and you're up and running. Rio's are quality pickups, right up there with other boutique makers such as Lollar, Kinman, WRC, etc. A pre-wired tortoise guard with these pickups, covers, etc. will run you around $350 from Rio Grande but this clean used setup is just $199.
