Re: Elizabeth project 3 Roughs
Elizabeth,
I like both designs a lot. The type treatment for both are cleaver and unique. But if I HAD to chose, it would be roughs 1. The rollover idea for the home page is creative and innovative. I would want to see buttons on inside layout though. But I like the layout treatment for your inside page, from roughs 2. I don't know how you'd feel of merging to two together? But you could go with either or and it would be good. Nice start

Hi Elizabeth! I have to go with rough 2 (I think) The green and white ones with the image of the building. I'm confused because the center picture says rough 1 but looks like rough 2. Anyway, it's a beautiful, inviting layout. Great example of the rule of thirds.

Hi Elizabeth!
Good Job of both of your designs! I really like the unique idea of making photos your link to the pages in rough#1 but I feel that it looks to busy. So, I am leaning more towards rough #2 which is the one with the beautiful campus images as the background and includes the white stripe and awesome branding GRC logo/page title. I think this layout is professional, simplistic, and well balanced with use of white space. I think the color scheme and typography work well together. One thing that I would suggest is to include TMCC's address info. down in the left or right corner. Nice job and I cant wait to see your final design!

Hi Elizabeth,
I am digging your first layout it has a repetitive affect to it that the viewer could see it was still attached to TMCC. I think the flow is nice as well as the aesthetics. I like the round affect you have given the different categories, it goes well with the font choice in the "G".

Hi Elizabeth,
Good job on both your designs.
I think either one would work.
I think I like your rough 2 ideas more because of the pictures you used.
Visually they are very strong in communicating the campus.
I think you did a great job in doing that with our high desert surroundings.
Nice Job,
Georgia

Hi Elizabeth! While both designs are strong, I lean toward rough number 1. If I understand your footnotes, the 'About' page titled 'Graphic Communications' is the inside page for rough 1, giving it a similar look to rough 2. I like the use of windows in the home page layout as a link for your inner pages. I also think the artwork as the background image for 'Gallery' works well. I look forward to seeing what you decide for your final design.

I like the top set of roughs more. They exude the clean design with which you work so well. I like the vertical column in the middle; I would just watch the balance if you end up adding other items.

I enjoyed both designs. Personally, I like the rough 2.
The TMCC photo is very nice. Also, I like the logo.
Good job!
