Re: Mark Nichols P2 Prelim. Critique
I like the button/navigation bar color scheme of the second one better, but the layout of the first slightly more. I also like that the 'kicking gal' isn't obscured in the first one. Also, the type you chose for the buttons has kind of a friendly, bright feel to me, whereas i kinda want to see a mor...

Re: Project 2
These are both really nice. I love the color combination of the second design; I love the spash of lime with the ocean-y background, which fits very nicely with sushi. Really pro!

Re: preliminary_project_two
I prefer the first design. If you push the concept a little bit, it could look quite formidable and king-ly. I'd suggest straightening your images and only using the all caps decorative typeface for headers.

Re: Project 2 critique
I prefer the blue design; it's quite easy to navigate and straight forward. I think some kind of imagery would take it to a new level. Agreed, their original site is about as bad as I've ever seen (or heard, dear God). Huge improvement.

Re: pre lim project 2
I'm in agreement that design #2 stands out. That sunrise imagery is spot on. I'd like to see the logo either on a white banner or with a transparent background. Great job!

Re: Project #2 - Prelim
These are great! I prefer design 2; it feels a bit more balanced to me. My only suggestion is to increase the text size on your header navigation. Great job!

Re: H. Williams Preliminary Critique Project 2
I love both designs, very lovely and professional. I was initially leaning toward the first design, but have now settled into the second. It feels subtle, relaxing and elegant. Both logos are excellent. I simply LOVE that first logo, I can almost feel and smell some tea or coffee on my face. Perhaps...

For Project 2, I am redesigning the website for local book/music store http://www.sundancebookstore.com/. For Idea #1, I wanted to reflect the classical style of the historical building it is located in. For Idea #2, I decided to keep it simple and went with a clear layout which leads the eye to mai...

Re: Project One Final-Jonathon J.
This has a really great feel to it, and I love your original background image. And to be sure, your personal logo is totally bitchin. Personally, I would prefer to see a bit of color, even one little splash! I also think you could work with the paragraph alignment of your main body text and do a spe...

This is just totally awesome. If I saw it online I'd totally want to be your client! The colors are great, the concept is adorable and fresh and modern all at once. Just fix the spelling on 'reference!'
